Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. Family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in productions of the school. When she reached the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
