Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) who is professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was formerly was a model. She was Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). 2 She was an integral part of the show's main Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as well in Alias as a supporting character. She was also a star in Reverie, a 2018 series. In the year 2019, she was in a regular role on City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and appeared in seven episodes on the show The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the production of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to relocate to Hollywood which is where she landed parts in various shows, including Alias as well as Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. She played the second season's character in the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales who was on The L Word in 2005.
